I am both happy and sad to report that not much has been going on in the shopping front for me in this new year. This is what happens when a single girl buys a house in the fancy suburbs. Alas, I still do more than my fair share of window shopping and try my best to find the prettiest new things, and best deals where deals are to be had.
I have a little bit of spring fever and have been wishing for sandal weather and light-colored clothes. In the spirit of spring, I scored this lovely number off eBay last night, and got a wonderful deal to boot! Miss Nanette Lepore, circa ??, for thirty-six big ones, yay!
Little girl me dreamed of writing for Vogue. Little adult me took a very different career path but along the way realized what I do does not define who I am. I strive for balance, and live for it in every aspect.
I live with my beautiful baby girl & three wonderful pugs who light up my life every day with their antics and unconditional love. They teach me the best & biggest life lessons, humble me, and keep me real. As much work as it all is, I wouldn't have it any other way.
Everything they say about having children: it is true. I occasionally wonder what I did with my life before my daughter. She is a bigger source of joy than I could have ever imagined.
